Description of the park
Introduction
Pilsen’s Science and Technology Park is a crucial development project initiated and implemented by the City of Pilsen. It is located in one of the most successful industrial zones in the Czech Republic, at the Pilsen-Borská pole Municipal Industrial Park near the University of West Bohemia. 5,000 m2 (and together with the premises of PVTP II and PVTP III Over 10,000 m2) of office, semi-industrial and laboratory space form a modern infrastructure that supports research, development and innovation. The Pilsen Science and Technology Park benefits from its very convenient location with direct motorway connections to Prague and Germany (Nuremberg). Its proximity to and opportunities to collaborate with the University of West Bohemia are also essential with regard to the use of research capacities and availability of qualified staff.
The park expanded with a new semi-operational building H2 with an area of over 1200 m2 in 2019.Description of technology transfer

Innovative entrepreneurship training
Science and Technology Park Plzen in cooperation with partners out of educational institutions and subjects of business supporting infrastructure organize a variety of courses and seminars on different aspects of enterpreneurship and innovations.
Innovation infrastructure
Science & Technology Park together with the other institutions focused on regional development, research, development and innovations (University of West Bohemia, Regional Development Agency of Pilsen Region, Chamber of Commerce, Urban Planning and Development Institute of the City of Pilsen etc.) plays an important role within the regional infrastructure. The park has also got its representative in the Regionla Council on Research, Development and innovations.
Cooperation with universities
S&T Park has signed a declaration of cooperation with the University of West Bohemia in Pilsen, UWB is one of the biggest clients of the park, both the institutions organise various conferences and seminars, the park does lectures for students.
